"When To Stop Starting Again"

An exploration of keeping up with keeping up.

This discussion of the positives and pitfalls of the reinvented wheel sheds light on how to manage the call of bleeding edge of technology, while maintaining solid infrastructure and giving your clients, and developers, the best possible experience. I'm intrigued by, and delighted with my team using new technology and keeping at the forefront of technology. I'm also scared, apprehensive and worried about the implications which arise from this. Rather than keeping us in the "dark ages", I find it beneficial to work together with your teams and clients to ensure we are doing the best for them, as well as your business.

This talk discusses the thinking behind those discussions, as well as the thoughts and processes that occur when deciding on how to pick up, utilise and teach the team new technology and processes.
